ENTRANCE TEST (SOACET 2025) FOR ADMISSION INTO AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING / AME / INTEGRATED COURSE OF B.Tech (Aeronautical) + AME

SOACET is an entrance exam conducted by the School of Aeronautics for admission into B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) &

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME). All the courses run by SOA are approved by AICTE / DGCA and B.Tech

courses are affiliated to Bikaner Technical University (BTU)/RTU.   

AICTE & DGCA are the sole authorities in India for approval of B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) courses respectively. DGCA is the Regulatory body to look after the working of Aviation Organizations in India.

SOA conducts these entrance examinations every year at different centers throughout the country. This exam is usually conducted in May / June.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSION

The minimum qualification for admission into B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) & Integrated Program of B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) + AME

• 10+2 pre-degree/intermediate or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (percentage as per AICTE norms)

For lateral entry in B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) program / Integrated Program of B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) + AME  

Diploma in Engineering with 45% marks in the following branches are eligible :

• Diploma in Mechanical, Production & Industrial, Electronics & Communication, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Telecommunication Engg. and Aeronautical Engineering.
• B.Sc in PCM with 45%

The minimum qualification for admission into Aircraft Maintenance Engineering

• 10+2 pre-degree/intermediate or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
• Diploma in Engineering / B.Sc in PCM

Note:- For AME, Students should not have color blindness.

EXAMINATION FEE (SOACET 2025)

Registration Fee for the School of Aeronautics Common Entrance Test (SOACET) is Rs. 1000/-. This amount is neither refundable nor transferable nor adjustable for future SOACET.

PROCEDURE OF APPLYING FOR  ENTRANCE TEST (SOACET 2025)

Online Applications are invited from eligible candidates of residents of India, and Indian Nationals residing in other countries, for admission into the first-year B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) & AME program run in SOA.

ONLINE MODE:

The applicant may fill online application form for the SOACET 2025 Entrance Exam through our websites www.soaneemrana.org / www.ameadmission.org   or Click here to fill form directly, After filling out the form online there is no need to send any documents to the college.

Candidates must perform the following activities while submitting the online application form :

• Applicants may visit our websites www.soaneemrana.org / www.ameadmission.org or Click here to fill form directly.
• Registration Fee of SOACET is Rs. 1000/-.
• Candidates must fill in basic information in the form & upload a photo & sign (in jpg format Maxi up to 100 KB & 50 KB respectively).
• Candidates may make online payments through Internet banking/credit card/debit card on our portal. 
• Candidates will receive a registration number after confirmation of successful payment. 
• Kindly keep the registration number & payment receipt for future use.

OFFLINE MODE:

Candidates must perform the following activities while submitting the offline application form :

• Candidates must fill in basic information in the form & paste a photo & sign the form.
• Registration Fee of SOACET is Rs. 1000/-.
• Candidates need to make a DD of Rs. 1000/- in favor of the School of Aeronautics, payable in New Delhi.
• Candidates may then send the form & DD to our corporate office through Post at School of Aeronautics, H 974, Palam Extention, Part 1, Sector 7 Dwarka, New Delhi, Delhi 110077.
  

• After receiving the form at our Corporate Office candidate will get a Registration Number by SMS and EMail.

• Kindly keep the registration number & DD number for future use.

Admit Card will be issued 10 days before the entrance test, Candidate will receive Admit Card through EMail and SMS.

Results will be declared after the entrance examination in around a week.

Our students have been successfully placed at reputed companies. Our students are working in 300 plus companies, detailed list is available in placement section. Our over all placement rate is 85 - 90 %.

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

The admission Fee is waived if a candidate qualifies SOACET Exam, A Scholarship is provided to the students of Aeronautical Engineering & AME as per their extraordinary performances.

1. At the time of admission based on 12th class (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) marks.

2. If the candidate belongs to (OBC/SC/ST) category we offer a 5% scholarship & additionally a 5% scholarship for Girls candidate.

3. During a course based on performance in semester exams conducted by the university. (FOR THE CLARIFICATION OF THE STUDENTS, WE LOOK FOR INCREASING % OF MARKS FROM CLASS 12 ONWARDS).
4. The society also helps in getting the scholarship from various bodies.
