Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME)is a licensing program in which a candidate has to do 2 years academic program in an AME training school, approved by DGCA, Government of India.
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME)is related to the inspection of Aircraft before flight, testing, and troubleshooting the problems of aircraft systems. The candidate after being admission to AME training schools will get knowledge about the aircraft and its related systems. Aircraft have various systems like hydraulic systems, air-conditioning systems, pressurization systems, avionics systems, landing gear systems, propulsion systems, etc. In two years students are supposed to undergo theoretical as well as practical training.
Admission Criteria for AME ADMISSION
To be admitted to AME, a candidate should satisfy the following criteria.
90 - 100 - 25 %
80 - 90 - 20%
70 - 80 - 15%
60 - 70 - 10%
50 -60 - 5%
